Catching up, checking things off, and what’s coming next

Hey friends! It’s been a busy stretch over here at Prime Custom Creations, and I feel like I’m finally coming up for air. I’ve got a lot to catch you up on — new work, new website, and some exciting things on the horizon.

The big jobs: two local bars, two sets of custom etched glassware

I recently wrapped up two larger commissions, both for bars right here in our community — and honestly, both of them felt really personal in different ways.

The first was for Spanky’s. If you know me, you know I’ve been a regular there for years, so getting to etch their logo onto a bunch of pint glasses for St. Patrick’s Day felt like a full-circle moment. There’s something really cool about doing custom work for a place that feels like home. I poured a lot of care into making sure those glasses looked exactly right — because I’m going to be the one seeing them on the bar top!

The second was for Tarbenders, where my husband and I are friends with the owner. This one was rocks glasses with their logo, and it was one of those jobs where it’s nice to work with people you already have a relationship with — the communication is easy, and there’s a lot of trust on both sides. I love it when that’s the case.

Both logos were provided by the buyers, so my job was bringing them to life on glass — and I’m really proud of how they turned out. If you’re in either spot, keep an eye out for them!

A smaller job with a lot of heart: the dog decanter set

In between the bar jobs, I also did a custom etched decanter and rocks glass set for a friend. The design? Their dogs. And if you’ve never seen how happy someone gets when they see their pets immortalized on glassware — well, it’s pretty great. This is honestly one of my favorite kinds of work to do. Personal, meaningful, and something they’ll keep forever.

The website got a refresh!

I also finally updated primecustomcreations.net! Fresh new look and some new products added to the shop. I’m really happy with how it’s come together — Go take a look and let me know what you think!

What’s next

I’m not going to lie — finishing these big jobs felt like putting down a heavy bag. I’m proud of the work and so glad it’s done! But I’m also already excited for what’s coming next. I’ve got a new job on the horizon that I’m genuinely looking forward to, and I can’t wait to share more about it when the time comes.

Thanks for following along with me on this little creative journey. It means more than you know. 🖤
