I’ll be the first to admit it: I’ve been a little quiet on here lately. Between my shifts as a Nurse Navigator and the deep dive I’ve taken into my “Diode Laser Bootcamp,” my hands have been full—mostly with nursing charts and test wood scraps!
But as the air in Loudoun County finally starts to warm up, I’m feeling that familiar itch to get moving. For me, spring doesn’t just mean “spring cleaning”—it means it’s finally time to get the boat back on the water and the camper hitched up.
Life Between the Lake and the Laser
If you know me, you know that my “happy place” is a weekend spent camping or out on the boat. There is something about being on the water that clears the mind and sparks new creativity.
This year, I’m heading into the season with a goal: I want to keep my weekends full, both on and off the clock. While I’m looking forward to those quiet mornings by the lake with a good book, I’m also firing up the laser to create pieces that celebrate exactly these kinds of moments. Whether it’s a custom-engraved sign for your own camper, a personalized docking station, or a gift for a summer wedding, I’m ready to help you make this season memorable.
What’s Been Happening in the Shop?
While I’ve been preparing for lake season, I haven’t neglected the workshop. I’ve been perfecting some new items that I am so excited to share:
- Custom Glassware: I recently branched into wine glasses and can do most any shape.
- Milestone Moments: My new birth announcement plaques and monthly discs are officially ready for their debut.
- Professional Branding: I’ve been working on corporate-level logos ideas (including my own!) to help other small businesses stand out. I’d love to be your go-to for branding SWAG.
