When Your Local Bar Becomes Your Client 💛
Sometimes small business feels surreal.
This past month, I delivered one of my largest custom orders to date — to a place I’ve been walking into for years. A place where I’ve celebrated birthdays, met friends after long shifts, and unwound on ordinary weeknights.
That place is Spanky’s.
Walking in and seeing something I created sitting behind that bar? It was one of those quiet, full-circle moments that make all the late nights in the workshop worth it.
🍻 Creating for a Place That Feels Like Home
When Spanky’s trusted me with their order, it wasn’t just another job. It was personal.
I wanted everything to be perfect:
- The placement of the logo
- The depth of the engraving
- The consistency across every single piece
- The durability for busy, real-life bar use
Knowing those glasses will be used for celebrations, first dates, regulars’ “usual,” and random Tuesday nights — that means more than I can explain.
It’s one thing to create for customers.
It’s another to create for a place that’s already part of your story.
What’s New in the Shop ✨
At the same time, the shop has grown in a big way. I added four new products that I’m genuinely excited about — pieces that feel intentional and gift-worthy.
🥃 Whiskey Decanter & Rocks Glass Sets

These feel timeless.
They’re the kind of gift you give for:
- Milestone birthdays
- Retirements
- Weddings
- Or someone building their first real home bar
There’s something about engraved glass that just feels substantial — like it will last.
🍺 Custom Pint Glasses

Whether for businesses or personal gifts, pint glasses are simple and classic.
They’re practical. They get used. They live in the rotation.
And seeing a logo or name permanently etched into something that’s used every day? That’s powerful.
🪨 Slate Coasters

Slate adds texture and contrast — a little rugged, a little refined.
I love pairing these with decanter sets for a complete, cohesive gift.
🪙 Metal Business Cards

These might be one of my favorite additions.
In a world where most cards get tossed, a metal card feels intentional. Memorable. Solid.
It says, “I take what I do seriously.”
Why This Season Means So Much
This phase of growth feels different.
It’s not just about adding products. It’s about:
- Seeing repeat customers
- Working with local businesses
- Watching something that started as an idea become part of real spaces
There’s something deeply rewarding about creating pieces that become part of someone’s everyday life — whether that’s on their kitchen counter or behind a neighborhood bar.
If you’ve supported me, shared my work, ordered something, or even just followed along — thank you. Truly.
Moments like walking into Spanky’s and seeing my work there don’t happen without a whole lot of support along the way.
And I’m just getting started.
